It all started with a semi-circle bevel. I drew out this pattern knowing that I wanted the bottom to gently drape like the folds of an undulating piece of fabric. I also experimented with clear textured glass which gives this piece a clean and modern aesthetic. The interplay between opaque, transparent, and translucent transforms the room into a kaleidoscope of colors and textures. Made with high quality materials and handmade glass made in the USA. One of a kind and created by hand in Houston, Texas. A mix of translucent, opaque, and mottled glass encased in a lead frame. Black solder. Measures 7” wide X 15“ tall. Polished and ready to hang.
